IndianIndian restaurants have only begun to appear on the Galway scene recently and they seem to have gained considerable popularity in a short time. This is surely an indicator of the ever expanding range of ethnic specialist food on offer. One of the best known of these is Shama, which is located in a picturesque medieval building, close to the Spanish Arch. The medieval character is preserved in the intimate interior where you can sup the night away, often into the wee hours. Most of the Indian Restaurants also do take-away.
