ItalianThe Italians and Irish seem to have some affinity for each other (it must be their temperament!) hence the large number of popular Italian restaurants in Galway. For excellent and reasonably priced authentic Italian fare go to Garabaldi's on Quay Street or Sev'nth Heav'n on Courthouse Lane. And for mouthwatering pizzas try Fat Freddy's or Pasta Mista, both on Quay Street. However most restaurants in town carry some Italian also.
